About Me
Ross has been an active entrepreneur since 2000 when he founded his first venture Liquid Point Entertainment, a full service disk jockey and event planning company that caters to the Greater Boston area. In 2005 he began his collegiate pursuits at Babson College, recognized by U.S News Report as the number one college for entrepreneurship, where he went on to co-found and lead the Babson Sales Organization, represent his college in both The Entreprelliance (a national entrepreneurship conference) and the NCSC (a national sales competition) as well as join the executive board of the Kairos Society (a nation-wide student entrepreneur organization).
From 2006 – 2008, Ross served as an Associate for Acceleration-Partners, a Boston-based business acceleration and consulting firm. Through his work at Acceleration-Partners he was able to work and create relationships with companies such as Bioscan, Inc., Expo TV, Cwerty.com, DailyJolt.com, and Water Synergies. In 2007, Ross co-founded his first major venture, For Art’s Sake Media, Inc. (FASM). FASM was designed with the goal of building empowering technology tools for the art industry. In January of 2008, FASM received its first round of funding, then going on to build three different product sets, however, despite this progress, the company was forced to close its doors at the end of 2008.
In 2009, Ross founded Growth Spark, a web design, development and marketing firm that helps business and organizations grow their online presence. Growth Spark specializes in WordPress development and focuses on building measurable web marketing campaigns. In addition, Ross is an active blogger, having co-founded and edited Mission Tuition from 2007-2008. A blog that focuses on college life, financial aid and career development, Mission Tuition was sold in September of 2008.
When away from his computer, Ross is often found sipping a variety of herbal teas; freestyling, beatboxing and playing with his Axiom 25; playing any number of vintage video games; exploring the many tenants of Buddhism; meditating to the sound of binaural beats; concocting inspired dorm room dishes from last night’s takeout; reading Wired Magazine at a local Barnes and Noble two hours before closing times.
